Mission

wegeguru was an idea that was born deep in the heart – an honest intention to cook healthy food – supported by the knowledge of our experienced chefs. We intended it as a surprise for those who hunt for culinary treasures and wish to embark on an exceptional journey to the world of natural plant-based cooking.

The source of our philosophy of thinking about creating the dishes is the pro-health raw cooking, the art of cooking according to the theory of five elements, and macrobiotics. All our dishes are prepared from fresh (we never reheat) high quality, easy-to-digest, nutritious plant-based components. We avoid sugar, gluten, lactose, wheat and semi-products.

Our dishes – inspired by the richness of cuisines of the world – referring to our oriental sentiments, but bowing also to regional treasures – are composed and prepared by vegan chefs and experienced cooks. Thanks to them, one can savour our aromatic smoked tofu, made on the spot, home-made healthy pickles, our own plant-based cheeses, and delicious sugar free desserts.

Thanks to the open kitchen, one can feel our enthusiastic passion and mindful community of cooking. Eco paints, clay plastering, white selenites, the solar panel from which we get electricity – located over the entrance, and the small saline graduation tower made from blackthorn branches, continuously ventilating the air at wegeguru, provide the sense of safe co-existence with the heart of nature.

A plate of richness

Three varieties of vegan cheeses: peppers, nori with smoked salt, and mushroom flavours. Served with kaki fruit, figs, pickled pumpkin, caper fruit, almonds, apricots, pomegranates, green and black olives, rocket, and our own crispy raw bread.

Blueberry tartelette

Like with all wegeguru desserts, to make it, we didn't use sugar, lactose, gluten or wheat. The baked chocolate tartelette is filled with velvety blueberry cream

A warming ginger drink

Based on ginger and curcuma. Excellent immunity-booster. With a sweet note of orange and agave, a clear ginger tang and a delicate sour note of citrus fruits.

One of Poland's best-established specialists on plant-based cooking (Guru, Biosfera, Green Bar, Vege MIASTO, Krowarzywa). Culinary educator and promoter of vegetarianism in gastronomy.

GRZEGORZ DEREŃ

CHEF

Has been involved in the world of gastronomy for years, on all levels of his career. Since 2006, specialist on vegetarian and vegan cuisine. With Piotrek Ważyński, creates the menu and new recipes for wegeguru.

ŁUKASZ SEKUŁA

COOK/MANAGER

Psychologist who traveled to Cambodia to bring the centuries-old secret recipe for the hit of wegeguru - our own curry paste - along with full awareness that cooking is his destiny. Currently, also manager at wegeguru.

IGA CZUBAK

SOUS-CHEF

Fascinated by the plant-based cuisine and its healing powers, Iga started studies on nutrition and diet consulting. Exploring the arcana of diet-therapy, supports the team of wegeguru.
